My work focuses on helping people understand and change the patterns that shape their thoughts, emotions, and habits.
Personal Story
A Life That Keeps Changing

A human life is never static.
From the moment we are born, we are constantly changing — physically, emotionally, and psychologically. New experiences shape us, challenges force us to adapt, and sometimes unexpected disruptions alter the direction of our lives completely.
Some changes happen gradually and quietly.
Others arrive suddenly and force us to rethink everything we thought we understood about ourselves.
These moments of disruption are often the very moments when therapy becomes meaningful.
How I Came to This Work
I grew up in England and originally built my career in engineering and design within the aerospace and automotive industries.
For many years I worked in demanding technical roles, pushing hard and rarely paying much attention to stress or self-care.
Eventually that approach caught up with me. Over time I developed chronic pain, insomnia, fatigue, anxiety, and depression that made it impossible to continue the career I had spent decades building.
What began as a personal search for answers eventually led me into psychotherapy training and a deeper understanding of how stress, behaviour, and the mind interact.
Looking back, that disruption became a turning point that reshaped the direction of my life.
From Personal Experience to Professional Work
I entered a four-year psychotherapy training program and spent the following decade continuing my education and building a clinical practice.
For the past 20 years in private practice, I have worked with individuals and couples facing anxiety, stress, relationship difficulties, and recurring behavioural patterns.
Over time I’ve come to see that many of the struggles people face are not random.
They follow patterns — patterns in how we think, how we react emotionally, and how we behave when life places us under pressure.
Therapy creates a space where those patterns can become visible.
My Approach
My approach to therapy is collaborative and conversational.
I don’t expect clients to arrive with perfect insight or the right words. My role is to help clarify what is happening, slow down recurring patterns, and bring things into focus in a way that feels manageable.
When people begin to understand the patterns shaping their experience, change often becomes easier.
